About Toastique Vienna
Toastique Vienna, VA – Health Food Restaurant, Cafe and Coffee Shop
You'll find us on Dominion Road NE, a block off Church Street. The W&OD Trail passes right by here, so we see a lot of cyclists locking up outside after a ride past the red caboose and old train depot. Vienna Town Green is close, and the Freeman Store & Museum anchors the corner where the trail crosses Church Street. We make gourmet toasts, smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juice, and espresso using responsibly sourced ingredients.
Vienna does its own thing. Church Street has the independent shops and local cafes. Maple Avenue is where the traffic and bigger stores are. Jammin' Java books live music pretty much every night. Caffe Amouri roasts beans nearby. The farmers market runs seasonally, Viva Vienna takes over Memorial Day weekend. Metro access is at Vienna/Fairfax-GMU on the Orange Line, roughly two miles out, though honestly most of our customers are already downtown or coming off the trail.
Fresh Juice and Acai Bowls on Dominion Road
Glass bottles, pressed that morning. Recharge is citrus-forward. Detoxify is all greens. Radiance has that carrot-ginger thing going. We stock wellness shots too, Immunity and Booster, for trail riders heading out or cooling down after logging some miles.
Bowls are popular here. Acai with blueberries and banana on top. PB+B has peanut butter and granola. Matcha if earthy sounds good, Black Mystique if you want something different. Cyclists grab these after locking up outside. Families walk over from the Town Green on weekend mornings. Both groups tend to stick around for a bit.
A Cafe Where Toast Is the Main Course
Toast at most places is a side dish, maybe an afterthought. Here it's what we're known for. They come out on wooden boards, built up like actual plated dishes.
Avocado Smash has radish and microgreens piled on. PB Crunch comes loaded with banana, strawberries, blueberries. Salmon toast gets cucumber and lemon. Burrata version when you're feeling rich, Spicy Crab for some kick. Made fresh when you order. Phones come out before forks do.
Coffee Shop and Espresso Bar in Downtown Vienna
Espresso bar running all day. Cortados, flat whites, lattes, Americanos, cappuccinos, drip. Nitro cold brew off the tap. Collagen lattes in a few flavors. Oat, almond, coconut milk available.
What matters is consistency. Same taste Tuesday as Saturday, whether you're grabbing one before the trail or after wandering Church Street shops. Some people camp out with a book. Others are in and out. Room for both.
Breakfast That Fits the Vienna Morning
Mornings here have their own rhythm. Early riders on the W&OD getting miles in before work. Families headed to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens for the morning. Parents doing the school drop-off thing. Breakfast handles all of it.
Cocolada Bowl or Matcha Bowl for something light. Avocado Smash or Burrata toast when you need more. Green Machine smoothie paired with a cortado if you're short on time. Patio seating when the weather's nice, or grab it to go.
Brunch Available Every Day
Brunch happens daily, not just weekends. Come by Wednesday after Great Harvest bread pickup or a browse through Bards Alley bookstore. Full menu's ready. Pink acai bowl with fruit on top. PB Crunch toast. 3 Cheese Italian if you want savory.
No reservations. No list. Counter service, grab a seat.
Lunch Between the Trail and Town
Lunch in Vienna usually means you're mid-errand or mid-ride. Maybe you did a few miles on the W&OD and need to refuel. Maybe you're between shops on Maple Avenue. Maybe you're killing time before Jammin' Java opens for the night.
Toasts work for that pace. Salmon with an Orange Crush smoothie. Mango Tango Bowl when fruit sounds right. Grab-and-go stuff stocked if you're really moving. Office people from nearby, trail users, shoppers between stores. Quick stop, solid food, back at it.
